Marketing Assistant

As part of the WNA marketing team, the Marketing Assistant will participate in and lead team marketing projects that drive growth in our product categories, and create awareness of the WNA brand. The Marketing Assistant will support efforts surrounding collateral materials, product launches, creative materials, web, social & promotions to drive awareness and growth in our business. This role requires working effectively with a diverse range of cross-functional partners, strong analytical capabilities, good communication skills, and solid project leadership with high initiative and follow-through.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product specification detail and ensure all proper updates are made throughout organization.

  • Photoshoot support, asset management.

  • With the direction of the Marketing Communication Manager, support tradeshow and conference events including sponsorships, booth space selection, company information and new product showcases. Coordinates sample shipments, booth materials and displays.

  • Digital Marketing Support Update website and social media sites.

  • Work with Marketing Services Manager to develop and maintain sample management process including order forms, logs, tracking, and presentation of samples to the field.

  • Sales Kit & POS ensure sample kits & POS are in-stock and available for sales ordering. Alert on low supply and when updates may be required.

  • Develop, gather and organize competitive product and creative information databases to be used for idea generation or competitive market intel.

  • Presentation Assistance.

  • Standard Forms Organization / Maintenance.

  • Budget management of marketing cost centers including PO requisitions, invoices to be received in, check requests.

  • Assists Sales with necessary requested information including, QA Forms, Assets, Product Information.

  • Sales Meeting & Trade Show Support.

  • Prepare and maintain new hire training materials.

  • Maintain sales contact information for internal and broker sales orgs.

  • Shopping for Photo Shoots / Shows / Samples

  • Marketing Special Event Coordination

  • Group Travel

  • Lunch Meeting Coordination

  • Team Outings

  • Group Meeting Support

  • Maintenance

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor of Science, Marketing preferred 1-3 years in Marketing support role.

  • Must be highly skilled in computer expertise including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written are critical.

  • Knowledge of administrative functions such as planning, organizing and coordinating.

  • Interpersonal skills and business maturity to work effectively with individuals both internal and external to the company.

  • Results orientation and a high degree of initiative, follow-through, and accountability.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, as well as to analyze problems and make independent judgments to initiate corrective action and resolution.

  • Strong time management and planning skills.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

  • Strong detail orientation, awareness of urgency in communication, while displaying diplomacy in day to day interactions.
