Schedule, perform and supervise cycle count program to ensure 99%+ inventory accuracy.
Prepares reports of inventory balance, shortages, as required.
Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation.
Make adjustments to inventory when needed.
Run variance reports and take action to resolve and prevent variances.
Prepare and coordinate annual physical inventory.
Determine and monitor available storage space or percent of warehouse utilized for inventory.
Maintains inventories at optimum levels to prevent under-or-over investment in inventory.
Supervises and coordinates disbursement and delivery of supplies and equipment.
Oversees work performed by support personnel.
Coordinate the purchases of all non-inventory operation supplies
Assure and manage proper system costing and cost conversions
May use computer applications such as spreadsheet, word processing, email and database software in performance of assigned work.
Other such duties as may be assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS in Business or related field or 5+ years’ experience the (experience may substitute education requirement)
3-5 or more years’ experience in manufacturing/warehousing/inventory management
Financial costing of kits, assemblies and conversions
Ordering material and managing inventory turns
Supervising and training of teams
Computer- word processing and spreadsheets-MS Office
Work place organization
Verbal and Written communication in English
Physical Activity Requirements
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment, loud noise and wear proper PPE.
Able to lift, push, carry and pull up to 50lbs.
Walking 50% of time out on warehouse floor, 50% in desk environment.
