Responsibilities

Schedule, perform and supervise cycle count program to ensure 99%+ inventory accuracy.

  • Prepares reports of inventory balance, shortages, as required.

  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation.

  • Make adjustments to inventory when needed.

  • Run variance reports and take action to resolve and prevent variances.

  • Prepare and coordinate annual physical inventory.

  • Determine and monitor available storage space or percent of warehouse utilized for inventory.

  • Maintains inventories at optimum levels to prevent under-or-over investment in inventory.

  • Supervises and coordinates disbursement and delivery of supplies and equipment.

  • Oversees work performed by support personnel.

  • Coordinate the purchases of all non-inventory operation supplies

  • Assure and manage proper system costing and cost conversions

  • May use computer applications such as spreadsheet, word processing, email and database software in performance of assigned work.

  • Other such duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Education

  • BA/BS in Business or related field or 5+ years’ experience the (experience may substitute education requirement)

Experience

  • 3-5 or more years’ experience in manufacturing/warehousing/inventory management

  • WMS use

  • Financial costing of kits, assemblies and conversions

  • Ordering material and managing inventory turns

  • Supervising and training of teams

Skills

  • Computer- word processing and spreadsheets-MS Office

  • Work place organization

  • WMS

  • Verbal and Written communication in English

Physical Activity Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment, loud noise and wear proper PPE.

  • Able to lift, push, carry and pull up to 50lbs.

  • Walking 50% of time out on warehouse floor, 50% in desk environment.
