Position Overview

Must be able to work an 8 hour flex shift between the hours of 8am - 7pm Monday thru Friday (4 -10 hours shifts are also available)

This consumer-facing role directly supports the RBO initiative to provide back office sales and service support services to independent sales representatives, including inbound and outbound consumer phone calls, e-mails and online chat communications; order entry; consumer invoicing; and consumer payment processing. There is substantial emphasis on identifying and executing on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell when interfacing with consumers.



*Handle consumer requests by inbound/outbound phone, e-mail and chat communication relating to orders, status, requests, and general information. Customer service requests include expedites, changes, reworks, exchanges, status, billing questions and payments, etc.

*Respond telephonically or via e-mail or chat communications as necessary or appropriate. Research and handle complex issues such as incomplete or incorrect orders, order changes, and other issues related to providing a high level of service to consumers, sales representatives, and their support staff.

*Identify sales opportunities and actively pursue sales using skills in both cross selling and upselling techniques. This may include outbound telemarketing activity.

* Interface with plants and other departments to resolve questions and problems.

*Additional responsibilities and special projects.




*High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

*At least 2 years experience providing direct customer support with demonstrated ability to provide a superior consumer experience

*Strong keyboarding skills and working level ability with standard MS Office applications

*Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills

*Strong organizational and prioritizing skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

*Demonstrated detail orientation and accuracy in dealing with data and systems

*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

*Ability to problem solve in a fast paced and ever changing environment


*Fluent English/Spanish Bilingual (oral and written) skills

*Knowledge and experience with Jostens Rings and Grad Products and Jostens order entry system

*Three or more years of previous customer service experience utilizing sales management software and systems
