Position Title: Seasonal Compensation/HRIS Analyst
We are looking for a seasonal Human Resources analyst for a dual role, responsible for providing support to the Compensation and Human Resource Information Systems areas within Human Resources. You will assist in the implementation and administration of the company’s compensation programs, policies and procedures. You will also help with the day to day operation of the HRIS system. Ensuring user interactions with HRIS systems comply with established policies, procedures and best practices. In specific, but not limited to the successful candidate will:
Assist with assigned wage and salary surveys, correctly identifying company benchmark jobs and submitting data within specified deadlines.
Work with company managers to market price hourly and salaried positions. Gather and assess data utilizing electronic database and other sources to determine appropriate placement within company pay structures
Works with company Recruiters and HR Generalists on compensation requests. Assisting in the administration of merit and incentive plan programs and certain compensation adjustments.
Support the day-to-day management of the HRIS system. Ensures integrity of data.
Supports the data collection and reporting necessary for business units. Prepares HR reports in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintains and produces ad-hoc reports to support internal customer needs and special projects.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
2-4 years analyst experience preferably in Compensation and HRIS
Proven analytical ability coupled with problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task and self-manage through multiple priorities
Ability to understand and enforce HR policies/practices and systems; excellent organizational skills, detail-orientation and a pro-active work ethic.
Prior experience working with highly confidential information with diplomacy and tact.
Strong verbal/written communication skills coupled with effective organizational and time management skills.
The ability to work independently or as a member of the team as needs require, along with the ability to influence without authority and communicate with various levels of management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and knowledge of HR-related policies/procedures including knowledge of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.
